A little witchy

These pictures are actually in reverse chronological order. Olivia had a great time trick-or-treating with Nate, I think she could have gone all night. For anyone who knows our neighborhood, she walked the whole thing and knocked on every door with their light on.

This picture was taken by Olivia. A ghost has been living in our house for quite some time. He decided to show himself this year for Halloween.

The only way I could get Olivia to be a witch was to be one too, so here we are together. Olivia was thrilled we were matching.

Some moms in our music class group were so mortified that I put make-up on her, but I couldn't resist. What's a witch without a wart? I think she looks cute. Unfortunately, she wouldn't let me scrub the eyebrows off, so they stayed dark for a couple days after Halloween.

I used to love to look at this picture when I was a little girl and wanted to compare, so thanks, Liz, for digging it up for me (and posting more on your blog)

playing catch-up

I found a memory card in my camera case full of some fun pictures that I took in September. I have been suffering from short term memory loss since I became a mother, so I'm sure that's how these pictures slipped through the cracks. . .

Turns out I did get the camera out on that trip to Ohiopyle, just none of the pictures were worth sharing. But this picture was taken in Pittsburgh, where we stopped before returning home from that trip.

Here Olivia and Emi are at the cabin. I hope these girls keep having so much fun together as they grow.

So serious. . . Olivia was concentrating very hard on something during her haircut, sometimes I wish I could get into that brain of hers. . . We just love Leesha.

I love this picture of Grandpa Trauntvein with the kids. Les and I brought them all over there to play in the cold canal water in their backyard. After lots of dropping rocks in the water and then taking them back out (Grandma and Grandpa did most of the work) and then a water fight (between Grandma and Grandpa), they all had a snack. That was such a fun afternoon.

Tag

Thanks for the tag, Kendra. So for this tag, you go to the 4th folder in your pictures, and then pick the 4th picture in there, then add it to your and tell briefly about it.

So this was the one. It was 2006, we were in Utah for the holidays and had tickets to an Aggie basketball game. So we dressed Olivia up into her adorable basketball outfit and bow, and brought her to the game. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything else about the game because she promptly started screaming when the fans started to roar, and we opted to leave early. I think we're finally up for trying to go to a noisy basketball game again now that she's bigger--we'll see how it goes this year.

I tag Lizzy W., Jana H., Bekah G. and Liz A.C.

Halloween pictures to come very soon. . .
